The Week

Well the weekend is coming to an end and school is coming up and work is right around the corner. However, you got to spend an amazing time with your buddies from causing trouble at night or going on long walks around town that you might never have known why, but you remember how calm or nice it was. Maybe you went swimming or fishing or maybe you sat in and played games with your buddies all day. Either way you had fun and that’s what the weekend Is all about to some kids. Each weekend you’ll have new experiences meet new people or make new memories, but the most important part is cherishing It especially when it all goes away when you get outta school or when your buddy’s leave and all the great times are past you.

From starting at the big day when you first get your licence all the way to when you graduate you’ll grow mature and hopefully be prepared to move on in life. and what I mean by moving on in life is leaving behind the people, the weekends, the hangouts, and the activities. These things were big parts of our life at one point so I’m not saying to forget about them completely, but you defiantly are gonna have to abstain from them to get ready for the next part of your life and building the rest of your life. Finally, My big takeaway from this blog is almost to remember where you came from what did you do that molded you into who you are remember who you met who you hung out with and importantly the memories you have with some people because they always wont be here and you always wont be there either. So enjoy it and have fun and most importantly cherish it before it all goes away.

Afternoon Activity’s

going with the activity topic I was gonna talk about what we do now. Due to having jobs and money with a lot more responsibilities, and big ones like a car or sometime soon a house and so on. We aren’t able to do as much or have as much fun as we used to. We went from spending days at each other’s houses to only seeing each other in different patterns. It’s mostly because of our jobs and even then we work in the afternoon due to what times our work allows, and school also affects how many hours we can work. It’s just too hard to get the time like we used to. I don’t think it’s necessarily bad either, but it has its tolls. Besides our time getting taken away has caused us to have come up with new activities like we will play with cards or I’ve personally been getting into more and more boxing. which we did before work, but now I cant do it as much especially with the same people over and over again. we overall, just try to squeeze out all the fun now that we don’t have the time anymore and sometimes that can get tiring.

I believe growing up is a good and a bad thing but most importantly you learn from it and prepare yourself for the life ahead of you. Sometimes you might get caught away in the stress or the issues you’re having, but just remember to have fun. Cut back on the work one day and do something you enjoy or wanted to try there is enough people have to deal with on a daily basis and sometimes the things that make your day are the ones the create good memories or the ones you enjoy the most. I also think it’s important you don’t try to squeeze it all out or you have too much fun and it will ruin the fun you had when you try and do it again. finally, no matter how busy you are or stressed try and take some time off for yourself we do live one life after all no matter if its in the morning or afternoon you choose what you want to do so maybe sleep or go do activities just remember to have fun and enjoy it while you can.

Wtw ?

Some of the slang I would see used or use myself was always what the word or wtw for short. it was just our way of saying we were very bored. So my buddies would always ask me what we should do or what was the plan. Which is what I’m gonna be talking about and finally getting into. since you guys already know about my friends and how it started I just thought it might have been time to say what we did. First off hanging out on the weekends and staying the night was our main life line we got so much freedom and had so much fun especially with money and a car. but we would do things like go terrorize the workers in Walmart and then go get something to eat after or we would just be out really late at night walking around the block because we were weird and thought it was cool. overall, we did a lot of crazy or dumb things, but we always knew how to have fun especially in the small town we live in.

Finally, The things I enjoyed the most were with Tristyn he taught me and my friends a lot of things like patience and just showed us it didn’t have to be boring. He would take us to places I’ve never seen before like trails in the woods or to railroad tracks on a bridge even sometimes he would go swimming with us in a creek but he was mostly scared of what was in the water or he would even take us fishing where I in fact caught my first fish. He also taught us his tricks of fishing and showed us the best spots or the best trails to go on to look at things and till this day even though he’s not with us anymore we still go out to those trails every once in awhile to remember or just to get away from the boring town where all we really have is Walmart and parks to go to to find something to do.

Cool People in Cool Places

Now that we have gone over the stuff I’ve done and how it came to me or how I went to it. I think its time to talk about some of the people on the way. First off I have a lot of really cool friends especially some new ones I met around my first year at the school I go to like Kegan, Tristyn, or my buddy Tanner we all met through one single person who we call AP now if you know me you know AP. Which at least you should because he’s my cousin , but either way if you know him or not he was the main building block for a lot of the stuff I did or even the people I met. This is just the main group There are still a lot of other people like Jono, Eli, Jude, Lucas, and Tommy which I’ve known since kindergarten. overall, all these guys have been cool to me and having fun with and hangout with in them is in general just a fun or exciting thing to do in my life recently.

Now I that I talked about all the people I cant leave out the places with us being young still and just getting freedom for the first time in our lives we of course didn’t have that many places to go, but places like AP’s or Tristyn’s had Great atmospheres and they were where we spent most of our summers and weekends always having fun. I will say though they both had there pros and cons like one of my favorites was roof access. We would climb on the roof and be able to see so far and hide when the cars would come driving by. However, either the place we went there was always little kids bothering us or trying to hangout with us which can get a little annoying , but we were usually able to get away from them. Finally, I could never tell you which one is better, but I enjoyed the memories throughout the whole time.

The Weekend’s

Well, where does all the fun stuff happen? The weekend of course. being at school would always stop any ability to go do or be able to see the cool things that are happening. The weekend is essentially one of the biggest gate ways to having fun. now since I’m older though the weekends just aren’t what they used to be with having to work almost every weekend. however, I had some pretty fun weekends.

For example, what would be your main thing to do on the weekends? mine was definitely hanging out or going to a party or even just doing something with my Friends. I remember that we had wars with splatter-ball guns shooting them at each other running around or even driving thanks to becoming 16. I feel like it was just so much fun from start to finish. Plus working at Walmart gave me access to a discount on them and even just seeing them first before everyone else. However, when it got so big with a bunch of people with their cars going down streets at all times and you never knew who was gonna be the person that was trying to shoot you. It overall just built a lot of suspense and felt so real and fun.

Finally, being able to be with your friends to have fun and make memories will always be so important to me. I’ve spent a lot of great time with friends or even family, and even though its not always fun or its not always what you expected or wanted, you should always cherish the moments you had before even just looking back at them and remembering what happened is good enough for some people.

The Big Day

Well to kick off the journey. I’m going to be talking about maybe one of the best or worst days of anyone’s life and that’s gonna be the sweet 16. You’re finally turning 16, able to make money, and even drive a car. Well, let’s just say I did all of that as soon as I was able to. When I got my license I had to brag to everyone first off, and second was getting the car I was going to drive. So I bought a 2008 Chrysler 300 for all of the money I earned Detasseling corn. Around this time is when my life started unfolding new things to do faster ways to do them. finally, the most important thing to me was the ability to make and spend money on whatever I wanted. so not only is my age opening me up, but the money did too.

one of the first ways I celebrated using my new privileges some may say or responsibilities was hanging out with my friends. when I first got my car we would go driving together, and I would be the one to give them all rides which really didn’t matter to me until later when the money would start becoming an issue. however, hanging out with all my friends meant more to be than spending 40 dollars on gas. some of the things we would do would be like cruising around sometimes speeding up a little (in safe places of course). then once I was more used to my car, and driving I would finally, start going to cooler places, and spots maybe on the outskirts of town or just places I’ve just flat out never been before. overall, my car was the gateway to make memories and have fun. To this day I still don’t regret any of it.
